Claire Campero MS, LPC, CCH

Claire Campero is the Owner & Clinical Director at Norwin Counseling & Wellness LLC.  Claire founded Norwin Counseling & Wellness LLC in 2018 after a few years of practicing as a solo practitioner in North Huntingdon, PA.  Claire is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years in the counseling & mental health profession.  In 2008 Claire graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Penn State University in Altoona, PA.  In 2013, Claire received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling with a Certification in School Counseling from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.  


Claire’s 20+ years in community mental health demonstrate a consistent commitment to impactful leadership and direct service.  Claire's experience in the mental health field has truly shaped her approach/style as a clinician and leader.  Some of those valuable experiences include the following:  Therapeutic Staff Support, School Based Clinician within Pittsburgh Public School (Barack Obama), Mobile Therapist (South Hills/Brentwood), Licensed Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Licensed Professional Counselor- Indiana County Community MH & Greensburg Community MH, Clinical Supervisor/Director of Adult IDD Program in Westmoreland County, Clinical Director of two outpatient clinics and two school based counseling programs all simultaneously (Monroeville & McKeesport), and Claire has served as a school based clinician within Norwin School District for the last 7 years.  


Claire's 20 years of diverse experiences have fueled her passion for mental health care. She looks forward to growing her outpatient practice, where Claire & all of the dedicated clinicians at Norwin Counseling & Wellness can continue to offer dedicated, collaborative, and compassionate mental health support to individuals in White Oak, North Huntingdon, and throughout Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. 


Claire has successfully completed advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) which is the gold standard for trauma treatment.  Claire is also certified in ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) which is a research-based treatment for OCD & Anxiety Disorders.  Claire is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist trained in the use of Hypno-Counting and Clinical Hypnotherapy that can be used to treat many mental health concerns.  Claire is extremely passionate about helping individuals heal and be the very best versions of themselves.

Nicole Johnson M.A., ATR-BC, LPC

 Nikki is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist who brings a warm, gentle, and neuro affirming presence to the therapy space. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and specializes in trauma-informed care, creatively supporting clients through art therapy, mindfulness, and body-based approaches.

With experience working with children, teens, and adults, Nikki supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, autism, and self-esteem. She is passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves and their inner resilience through both verbal and non-verbal therapeutic methods.

Nikki holds a master’s degree in Art Therapy with a specialization in Counseling from Seton Hill University. Art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit through creative expression, and can facilitate reflection, insight, and healing. Nikki incorporates a range of materials such as drawing, painting, collage, clay, and mindful coloring—always adapting to each client’s comfort and needs. No prior art experience is necessary to benefit from art therapy.

In addition to her clinical training, Nikki is a Reiki practitioner with a strong spiritual background. She is attuned to energy work and holistic healing practices, and is open to weaving spiritual or integrative elements into sessions when it aligns with a client’s preferences and goals.

Above all, Nikki offers a person-centered, compassionate space where clients are met exactly as they are—honoring each individual’s story, strengths, and unique path to healing.

Sarah Cole M.Ed, LPC

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over years experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults. Sarah has experience working with individuals and families in behavioral health rehabilitative services as well as outpatient community mental health services. 


Sarah is certified in PCIT (Parent- Child Interaction Therapy) and holds certifications in youth and adult trauma therapy.  Sarah is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and treats adults and children using this modality when appropriate.  EMDR is proven to be an extremely effective trauma treatment.  Sarah is extremely passionate about working with individuals, helping them to heal from their past, encouraging them to focus on the present, and supporting them as they move forward from situations in which they find themselves stuck. Sarah's style is warm and approachable, while supporting her clients in gaining the perspective that will allow them to reach their goals. 



Ashley Hartung MS, LPC, CAAP

 Ashley Hartung earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Sound Healer, and Certified Allied Addiction Practitioner with experience across a variety of behavioral health settings, including the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Ashley works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, and specializes in treating OCD, anxiety, and trauma. She utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and stress management techniques.


With a client-centered approach grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, Ashley strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. Her goal is to help individuals build resilience, develop confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. Ashley is passionate about helping clients discover their strengths and looks forward to supporting them on their journey toward healing, growth, and recovery.

Laurie Khalouf M.A., LAPC

Laurie is an Outpatient Therapist at Norwin Counseling and Wellness. She received her BS in psychology from The University of Pittsburgh and her MA in Clinical Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 

She has an additional two years of Family Based Training. She has successfully helped at- risk youth and families navigate life transitions. She has provided in-home and outpatient counseling for over 20 years. She has experience working with trauma, grief, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and strong willed children and adolescents.  Laurie works with children, adolescents and adults.  Laurie also specializes in couples counseling (Gottman Method) as well as family counseling services.  She embraces a collaborative, strength based approach. She is down to earth and believes in the importance of humor.  She knows that each person has the innate ability to grow and heal.  Her role is to accompany you on this part of your journey by understanding your perspective, helping you identify your obstacles to growth, and assist you in implementing a plan to accomplish your goals. 

Emily Stegman LSW

 Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience working within the mental health field. Emily has experience working with a wide range of individuals - children, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings. 

Emily is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitiation and Reprocessing) trained and has completed extensive training in ADHD across the lifespan. Emily works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, boundary setting, self-esteem issues, emotion regulation, and challenges related to ADHD and executive functioning. 

Emily works with clients of all ages and enjoys helping individuals better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences and build confidence in their ability to navigate all of life’s curve balls. Whether you are working through something that happened in the past, struggling with challenges in the present, or just hoping to create a positive change in your life, Emily is here to support you along the way. Emily’s goal is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration in a space that is warm and welcoming. 

Michelle Bianco LSW

As a licensed social worker with 30 years of experience, Michelle is dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth.  Michelle believes in the inherent strength and resilience within each person and strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, confront obstacles, and cultivate positive change.

Michelle's approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy. By tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, Michelle works to empower her clients to develop effective coping strategies, improve self-awareness, and build healthier relationships.  Michelle specializes in working with clients experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family issues, substance abuse and stress management. Michelle works with individuals, couples and families.  Michelle is a Level 1 Gottman trained therapist.  Michelle is able to effectively support couples needing help in their relationships.  Whether you're navigating a major life transition, struggling with past traumas, or simply seeking support and guidance, Michelle is here to help.

Danelle Coyne LSW

 Danelle B. Coyne, LSW, CCSP is a Licensed Social Worker and Clinical Certified ADHD Professional with more than 20 years of experience providing mental health services across a variety of clinical settings. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment for trauma and PTSD. 

Danelle is committed to ongoing professional development and is currently pursuing advanced certifications in the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and sex therapy to further expand the evidence-based care she provides to her clients.

Danelle attended Penn State University for three years, majoring in Administration of Justice, before earning her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California University of Pennsylvania. She continued on to earn her Master of Social Work from California University of Pennsylvania. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in both community-based and outpatient mental health settings. Her extensive background includes providing behavioral health services as a Behavior Specialist and Mobile Therapist, as well as outpatient psychotherapy for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.

Danelle has experience treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder, depression, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, chronic pain, and life transitions, among many other concerns. She is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based care that is tailored to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and treatment goals.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other evidence-based interventions to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Danelle believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for successful treatment. She strives to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. She is committed to fostering an inclusive and affirming space for individuals from all backgrounds and identities.

Kirsten Leddon LSW

As a dedicated Licensed Social Worker, Kirsten is committed to providing compassionate and effective care for children, adolescents, and young adults facing various developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. With a deep understanding of child psychology and four years of experience implementing evidence-based practices, Kirsten strives to create a nurturing and supportive environment where clients can thrive and reach their full potential. By developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, Kirsten aims to empower children and their families, fostering resilience and promoting growth. With a profound passion for helping children overcome obstacles and flourish, Kirsten feels honored to be a part of their journey towards health and happiness.

Kim Thorsen M.Ed, LPC

 Kim is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience working as a school counselor. As a school counselor, she has seen firsthand how meaningful support can change a young person’s path. Now in private practice, she offers individualized care for teens and young adults navigating life’s challenges outside the school setting. In schools, she helped students manage academic pressure, anxiety, depression, social struggles, grief/loss, and post-graduation planning. She also worked closely with parents, teachers, and support teams to create environments where students could succeed. That experience taught her that healing and growth happen best when people feel safe, heard, and understood – values she brings to every session.  

Kim’s approach is collaborative and client centered. She draws from evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, always tailoring strategies to your unique needs. Kim’s goal is to provide a warm and welcoming environment meeting her clients where they are and working with her clients to build resilience while taking meaningful steps forward toward self-discovery and growth.  

Kristen Falk- Master's Level Intern

 Kristen Falk is now accepting clients for daytime and evening sessions!  Kristen is now a full time outpatient therapist at Norwin Counseling and Wellness.  Kristen joined the team from July 2025 to April 2026 as an intern under the clinical supervision of Sarah Cole M.Ed, LPC. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Pittsburgh and graduated in May 2026 from a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Waynesburg University.  Kristen is working towards clinical licensure under the direct supervision of Sarah Cole, LPC and Claire Campero, LPC.  


Kristen has completed advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and is offering this modality to her clientele.  From a trauma-informed perspective, Kristen also uses somatic and psychodynamic therapeutic techniques in her therapy sessions. Her passion is supporting children, teens, adults & couples as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges. With her compassionate and collaborative style, Kristen emphasizes safety, curiosity, and empowerment of all clients with the goal of helping them reconnect with themselves and move toward healing at their own pace. 


Kristen works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, or other mental health issues, particularly those arising from developmental, relational, or complex trauma. She also specializes in supporting people with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodivergent presentations.  Please call the office to be scheduled with Kristen, she would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Dana Charmo- Office Manager

 We are delighted to introduce Dana Charmo, our dedicated Office Manager, who serves as the first point of contact for all new clients. Dana joined the practice in September 2025 after years of supporting a local Chiropractic Office.  Dana plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth start to care by quickly gathering pertinent information to facilitate efficient scheduling. Her exceptional attention to detail, combined with her kind and positive attitude, makes her an invaluable asset to our counseling practice and a welcoming presence for everyone who reaches out to us.
