Claire Campero is the Owner & Clinical Director at Norwin Counseling & Wellness LLC. Claire founded Norwin Counseling & Wellness LLC in 2020 after several years of practicing as a solo practitioner in North Huntingdon, PA. Claire is a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA with over 15 years in the counseling profession. In 2008 Claire graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Penn State University in Altoona, PA. In 2013, Claire received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Claire has successfully completed advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). Claire is also trained in ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) which is a research-based treatment for OCD & Anxiety Disorders. Claire is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist trained in the use of Hypno-Counting and Clinical Hypnotherapy that can be used to treat many mental health concerns. Claire is extremely passionate about helping individuals heal and be the very best versions of themselves. Claire feels extremely blessed to be able to provide quality therapy services in her community.

Jennifer joined Norwin Counseling and Wellness in 2022 as the Office Manager. Jennifer comes from a diverse history in customer service, administrative, and counseling roles. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hill University. Having come from a mental health background herself, Jennifer has an innate desire to support clients on their journey while ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Nikki is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified art therapist who has a warm and gentle approach to therapy. She is passionate about integrating creativity, sensory activities, and mindfulness into the healing process. Nikki has experience working with children, teens, and adults. She has helped people navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and IDD.
Nikki obtained her master’s degree in art therapy with a specialization in counseling from Seton Hill University. Art therapy is a therapeutic approach that engages the mind, body, and spirit through non-verbal expression. Art making can help foster personal metaphor, reflection, and insight.
She uses a variety of materials such as drawing, painting, collage, mindful coloring, and clay. For anyone doubting their creative abilities-- know that you don't have to be an artist or "good" at art to benefit from art therapy. Nikki utilizes a person-centered approach and will meet the client where they are. If someone is not comfortable with creative modalities, she will honor that and lean into different approach to meet your needs.
Additionally, Nikki is a reiki practitioner and has a strong spiritual background in energy work and other holistic approaches that can be used in the therapy process if interested.
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults. Sarah has experience working with individuals and families in behavioral health rehabilitative services as well as outpatient community mental health services.
Sarah is certified in PCIT (Parent- Child Interaction Therapy) and holds certifications in youth and adult trauma therapy. Sarah is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and treats adults and children using this modality when appropriate. EMDR is proven to be an extremely effective trauma treatment. Sarah is extremely passionate about working with individuals, helping them to heal from their past, encouraging them to focus on the present, and supporting them as they move forward from situations in which they find themselves stuck. Sarah's style is warm and approachable, while supporting her clients in gaining the perspective that will allow them to reach their goals.
Ashley received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Ashley is a Licensed Professioal Counselor and a Certified Sound Healer and a Certified Allied Addiction Practitioner. Ashley has experience working in many aspects of the behavioral health field, including substance abuse and addiction, case management, community-based, primary care and outpatient counseling. Ashley works with children, teens and adults. Although Ashley works with many mental health concerns, she specializes in working with individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Ashley utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, 12 step work and stress management techniques. She believes in a client-centered therapeutic approach that is based on genuineness and empathy to help promote positive change. Ashley's goal is to instill hope and empower her clients to become the best version of themselves. Ashley hopes to be alongside you in your journey in building resiliency, growing and recovering.
Laurie is an Outpatient Therapist at Norwin Counseling and Wellness. She received her BS in psychology from The University of Pittsburgh and her MA in Clinical Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She has an additional two years of Family Based Training. She has successfully helped at- risk youth and families navigate life transitions. She has provided in-home and outpatient counseling for over 20 years. She has experience working with trauma, grief, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and strong willed children and adolescents. Laurie works with children, adolescents and adults. She embraces a collaborative, strength based approach. She is down to earth and believes in the importance of humor. She knows that each person has the innate ability to grow and heal. Her role is to accompany you on this part of your journey by understanding your perspective, helping you identify your obstacles to growth, and assist you in implementing a plan to accomplish your goals.
Emily is a Licensed Social Worker with many years of experience working within the mental health field. Emily received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in Greensburg in 2016. She later earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the California University of Pennsylvania in 2021. Emily has experience working with children, adults, and older adults in the community, school, and hospital settings. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, grief/loss, and ADHD. Emily elicits a warm and welcoming approach. She creates a safe space for clients to grow and achieve their desired goals. Emily is passionate about helping her clients become the best version of themselves. Emily is currently taking new in person and telehealth clients. She also sees students at both Norwin School District and Greensburg Salem School District. Danelle has over 20 years of experience as a social worker and counselor. She attended Penn State University for her bachelor's degree, majoring in Administration of Justice and then went on to obtain a master's degree in social work from California University of PA. In Danelle's earlier career she served many years as a behavior specialist and mobile therapist working with children and teens. Danelle has over ten years of experience working with young adults, adults and older adults as well. Danelle has experience working with ADD/ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum diagnoses, mood disorders, depression, PTSD, grief/loss, and chronic pain, among other concerns. Danelle's treatment approach includes aspects of cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as other evidence-based modalities. She is dedicated to helping individuals identify and meet their goals for treatment. Danelle is able to provide her clients with a safe space as they navigate their own thoughts and feelings. Danelle believes in diversity and inclusion, and she is an ally. In her spare time, Danelle enjoys spending time with her children, her fiancé and her three dogs.
